In-person or Online

Empower English offers a wide variety of classes tailored to each student's learning style to help
them achieve their language goals.
Classes are designed specifically for each client or group and can be either in-person or online.
For virtual classes, we use the Google Meet videoconferencing platform, and in-person classes
can be held at your home, in a café, at your office, or at mine.

For all ages

Empower English has 14 years of experience teaching students of all ages: children from 4 years old, teenagers, university students, adults, and retirees. The materials and methods are specifically designed to suit the learning abilities, pace and interests of each age group.

Individual or group

Empower English offers private one-on-one classes, which are the most common, but also
small group classes depending on the needs of the clients. For example, groups can be created
with siblings or friends so they can study together, or groups can be formed with employees
from the same company.

Exam preparation classes

Empower English specializes in preparing students for official English exams. Our students
always obtain the certificates they need!
We offer classes to prepare for the most prestigious official qualifications: Cambridge, TOEFL,
IELTS, Duolingo English Test, and the Official Language School (EOI).
At Empower English, we have more than a decade of experience, and with our classes, you will
learn the techniques and content necessary to pass your exams: grammar, reading comprehension, writing, listening comprehension, vocabulary and speaking. And all this in a fun
and effective way!
Our exam preparation classes are tailored to the level our clients wish to achieve. We offer
classes for Pre-A1, A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2. We are experts in these exams and have
specific training in evaluating all their sections. Our methods are not only effective but also
enjoyable.

Conversation classes

Conversation classes consist of dialogues guided by the teacher in which the student's vocabulary is expanded and their fluency and pronunciation are improved. The conversations

are interesting and always based on the client's interests. During these classes, the teacher
observes and corrects the student's use of grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary.

Those who attend our conversation classes exponentially improve their ability to speak in real-
life situations, both in the workplace, for example in international business contexts, and in their
personal lives with English-speaking friends or during trips abroad. Our classes create an
environment that allows clients to feel comfortable speaking English.

Business English classes

Clients who work in companies and sectors that require professional conversations in English
improve significantly in Empower English's Business English classes.

Through grammar and vocabulary exercises, clients are guided through a learning process that
builds a solid foundation and achieves a high level of proficiency in the specific lexicon and
jargon of today's business world.

Clients develop the ability and, therefore the confidence and assurance to speak English in
professional contexts. Business English classes are always enjoyable and, more importantly,
highly effective.

Help with school courses

Most, if not all, students in the Basque Country study English as a foreign language and often
face the additional challenge of taking more than one subject in English. Empower English has
years of experience teaching and supporting students in the Basque school system.

We offer guidance and specific instruction not only in English, but also in the specific tasks
students need to complete their homework and other school assignments. We have helped
many students master the English necessary for their studies, their projects, and specifically,
reading and writing in English, which improves their overall academic performance.

Empower English also teaches students methods for studying well and effectively. Today, many
