Empower English, based in Bilbao but accessible worldwide, is a language teaching service with 15 years of experience. Led by William Borden from Seattle, USA, and a permanent resident of Bilbao, Empower English offers classes for children of all ages, teenagers, young adults, adults, students, working people and retirees.

William has 15 years of teaching experience, delivering highly effective classes at all levels: pre-A1, A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2. He has taught individual classes and groups, both large and small; at home and in companies, and with students of various ages: primary school children, secondary school students, and adults.
He has taught public school teachers and company executives. In addition to face-to-face
classes, William has also taught online via the Google Meet platform.

William has extensive and varied experience working with students of all ages and strives to meet their specific learning needs so that they can make significant progress and achieve their goals, including passing English exams at school or official exams such as Cambridge, TOEFL, IELTS, Official School of Language exams, the Duolingo English test and others. William has extensive experience helping to develop conversation skills in international business, travel, and professional interview contexts.

Empower English classes are designed in collaboration with the student (or their parents) to ensure that all goals are successfully met.

William's classes are proven to be effective, but they are also entertaining and engaging,
inspiring students to learn in a rewarding and enjoyable way. William has a great sense of
humor and is an expert in communication, always considering the needs of each student in every class and at every moment.
